ART LA Opening Night Reception benefiting MOCA
Barker Hangar, Santa Monica
January 22nd was the opening gala event for the third annual Art LA fair. MOCA was the beneficiary and what a wonderful, lively and successful event it was. According to the wrap up press release, “The opening night reception benefiting the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA) drew art enthusiasts, collectors, Hollywood notables and celebrities alike, including Albert Brooks, Rachel Griffiths, David Alan Grier, Jeff Garland, Neil Patrick Harris, John Hensley, Brittany Snow, Dean Valentine, and others who were spotted eying pieces from the exclusive selection of 60 exhibitors on site that were hand picked by the ART LA 2009 selection committee, overseen by Tim Fleming, director, ART LA.” (provided by BWR Public Relations). MOCA Contemporaries had a table at the fair on opening night and not only did it give us the chance to reconnect with past friends we signed up four new members. What fun!
The Evolution of my Bedroom
My new bed and bedroom is slowly coming along. I've now bought another night table and added some lamps and curtains.. It's beginning to feel like a bedroom finally.
