(Junkadelic, which happens to be a pretty good Mexican restaurant by Japan standards) I took a few photos of this lightbulb trying to get the look I was looking for, but I couldn't get the filament and lamp shade to both look how I wanted in the same photo, so this is actually the result of a little bit of transparency and editing with GIMP. (Like Photoshop, only free and not quite as fully featured.) My editing skills are pretty non-existent, but this is the kind of look I was trying to get. Both photos used in this image are straight out of the camera. (The two images are light bulb (0853) and light bulb (0854) if anyone wants to try to do a better job!) Nothing like a good book... Despeckled a bit using The GIMP because for some reason the original was quite noisy... This photo was submitted to a prize draw held by Ebury Press, and helped to win me 15 free books!
