Jay Austin wants to sell you a used car, but watch out! Many victims have fallen prey to his smiling face and hasty promises. Austin does everything his way until his dishonesty and manipulation are repeatedly exposed. Like many men, he becomes disgusted by the masks he wears and lies he tells. While having a classic convertible repaired, Austin begins a humorous and inspiring journey to win back the hearts of his wife, his son, and his community. Flywheel is the first film from the creators of Facing the Giants and Fireproof. Used car salesman Jay Austin (writer/director Alex Kendrick) swindles his customers and teaches his assistant salesmen to do the same--but despite the profits, something gnaws at him. When he realizes that his own son doesn't respect him, Austin has a conversion and accepts God into his life. This would be the end of most spiritual stories, but Flywheel finds a warm comedy in the obstacles on the path of righteousness; Austin discovers that being right with God means grappling every day with what it means to be honest. Though the filmmaking is raw (the editing is often clumsy and the cinematography is flat), the story is well-paced, has a gently ironic sense of humor, and Kendrick's central performance is compelling. Kendrick is just as persuasive as a man struggling to emerge from a joyless life as he is when he's rediscovered his faith but finds it constantly tested. Though Flywheel is forthright about its Christian inspiration, the story is about actually living a moral life, not about abstract spiritual truths. History:

When Larry Shinoda and his Corvette team began their design work on the new-for-1963 Corvette Sting Ray, it is unlikely that they could have possibly foreseen the impact this design would have on the car world. Long considered a modern classic, the Sting Ray’s aggressive lines and sleek profile were perfectly suited to its role as GM’s image leader. Mechanically, a growing list of power train options and Zora Arkus-Duntov’s independent rear suspension, followed by the availability of four-wheel disc brakes in 1965, helped Corvette racers achieve innumerable racing victories.

The 1967 model year was a Corvette milestone, marking the end of production for the second-generation models that are also known as the C2 or mid-year cars. Originally, 1966 was supposed to have been the last model year of this body style, but due to production delays on the upcoming Mako Shark-inspired C3 Corvette, Chevrolet continued C2 production for one more year. As a result, the cars were only slightly re-styled, but today they remain coveted as the most refined second-generation Corvettes produced.

During the era, many knowledgeable Corvette performance enthusiasts selected the L79 327-cubic inch V8 for power. With its stout 350 hp output, the L79 small-block V8 option provided peak performance approaching that of the vaunted big-block cars, all in a lighter package that maintained the Corvette’s stellar handling and weight distribution. In addition, the L79 was quite easy to maintain, with its hydraulic valvetrain and single Holley four-barrel carburetor. The L79 option added just $105 to the Corvette’s base price.

The example presented here is very original, having received just one refinish in its original Ermine White, while retaining its factory-fitted body panels and matching numbers L79 V8 and four-speed drive train. Although its performance is excellent with the optional L79 engine, what really makes this car special is the beautiful white interior. Its white-on-white color combination is very rarely seen today and perfectly complements the Sting Ray’s beautiful lines. An original, well-maintained example, it exudes an irreplaceable authenticity and tightness that simply cannot be duplicated in a restored car.

The 370Z Yellow is a limited edition of the 370Z GT Pack coupe for the British market, inspired by the European GT4 race car. It includes Ultimate Yellow body, 19-inch RAYS forged alloy wheels, black leather and suede interior upholstery, integrated satellite navigation system, illuminated entry plates, special mats and a Bose audio with 8 speakers and a 6-CD autochanger.

The vehicle went on sale in September 2009 for ?31,650 (manual) or ?33,050 (automatic).

A North American version, consisting solely of Chicane Yellow paint(2009 only), is otherwise identical to 370Zs. Chicane Yellow was available for an extra $500 in North America with other colors available standard at no additional charge.
