There is a lot of grace to the hijra wedding dance performers , they wear loud glitzy dresses loud make up but they are human beneath the scarring jarring pain of life ..

The kids had a gala time later the older kids showed their Boogie Woogie skills on the dance floor the pelvic thrusts and all.

And this was next to my building compound wall the wedding family kids are my good friends from a good family ..their father did not want this show and extravaganza but the kids persisted wanted some fun had their way and Reshma is know to all as she lives at Lal Mitti she was originally from these slums.

And I never met Reshma at Haji Malang or Ajmer Sharif these are hand to mouth hijras ..wedding events birthday parties keep them alive there is hardly any badhai demands like in Delhi where hijra groups earns a lac or more on rich mans child's badhai day.
