BATH TOYS FOR BOYS - HOT TOYS BOYS - TOYS FOR INFANTS. Bath Toys For Boys
Baby Brother Tenderlove Baby Brother Tenderlove came out in 1972. He was a bit controversial because he's anatomically correct. When my son was born in 1976, I asked my grandma to get him for Christmas. I had the idea that if you gave boys dolls it would make them more nurturing. At the time I didn't think it was working because he never really played with the doll, certainly not like a girl would. he was a bath toy for a while, then he laid in the toy box. My son is a wonderful father to his three daughters. I don't think the doll had anything to do with it, but it didn't hurt. 48/365 - we be baby spa-ing okay, $39 bucks for a plastic bucket with a fancy, appeal to the manni-pedi crowd of mommies out there kinda name - the "baby spa". but i bought it cuz i HATE baby bathtubs and figured what the hell, who doesn't love a spa. and i can store dog toys in it if baby a hates it. well, my boy, my mini metrosexual in the making LOVED his spa. no tears, no fear - just plain loved the experience. yay! thank you "baby spa" people, thank you. IRON MAN: A WALK IN THE STARK - "HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU, ECHIDNA" (BEST SEEN LARGE 'COS HE'S SUCH A 'LIL BLOKE...) "OKAY. COOL. SO...YOU SCRATCH MY BACK AND I'LL SCRATCH YOURS...." Tony Stark, the Invincible Iron Man, had to admit, that this little guy really knew a thing or two about armour design... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Walking with some friends and their dogs along a road near Kyneton the woofers discovered this echidna. We had a quick look at it just in case it had been injured by a car but it seemed okay, if resigned to being flushed by noisy, nosy dogs. I always carry at least one small Iron Man figure on walks like this 'in case of emergency' so was able to snap an ultra quick shot before backing away and letting the wee beastie trundle off in search of a tasty ant or termite nest. The echidna is actually a monotreme (egg laying mammal) like one of our other eccentric Aussie critters, the platypus. It's a bit of a paradox really, as the eggs it lays are leathery, like a reptile's, and it lays them into a marsupial like pouch...how exotic! As with other spiny animals its prime defence is its bristling armour and when threatened it curls up into a ball or digs itself into the dirt. It's not general knowledge but the echidna does have venomous spurs, like the platypus, but there's no recorded case of them ever poisoning a human. Though you most assuredly do not want to stand on them or mess with them in general. And Tony probably should have kept his helmet on, just to be on the safe side.... IRON MAN: THE MOVIE !!! - "IRONY THREE" (BEST SEEN FROM A MOVING TRAM) The Iron Man movie's Australian theatrical release afforded a number of creative marketing opportunities for Stark Industries representatives eager to underline the Melbourne Branch's many achievements. Here a trio of S.I field testers race to catch a Melbourne tram. Their objective: to subject Stark built helmets to onboard battering by overhead passenger strap handles, surely the most severe impact test that Iron Man technology has endured, second only to blows from the mighty fists of the Incredible Hulk! -------------------------------------------------------------------- Artists Alison Weaver and Paul Quinn created this iconic statue group which stands on the corner of Swanston and Bourke streets, Melbourne, Australia. Unveiled on the 20th of April, 1994 the life sized bronze figure sculpture the ‘Three Businessmen Who Brought Their Own Lunch: Batman, Swanston and Hoddle’ is a whimsical tribute to three of Melbourne's early colonial pioneers. It was presented by President of Nauru Bernard Dowiyogo to the people of Melbourne celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the Australian city. The Iron Man movie helmets are (left to right) the Mark 2, Mark 1 and Mark 3. I shot the 6 inch and 12 inch movie tie-in action figures against a green screen and then 'shopped them in. There's several more iconic Melbourne landmarks and sculptures that I've also got my eyeslits on.... Oh, and there's an Easter Egg in the picture too.... ;) Related topics: nic wooden toys little big planet plush toys unusual infant toys brick boy toys pokemon toys figures plush horse toys playschool toys website chinese toys |

ride home ride home from work today, weather was nice for a change - defished with image trends hemi plugin actually this was a little detour as my way home was with the sun to my 8 o'clock, so I rode onto this little path to get some pics with the sun straight ahead... sorry it was impossible to get the bike fully sharp, the path was very rough... Riding through Windsor Riding the riverfront in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The image is not flat. I like this effect since it adds to the chaos; blurred and out of focus surroundings, and the illusion of speed. I'm actually going about 28mph. AND OMG IT IS SO FAST PACED XD ~ Melanie the Robot Spider Wood Pendant Ornament Science Fiction Dangle 2 Melanie here is dangling from her web... how about from your neck? She's done up in coppery reds with a bit of light metallic blue and gold. She's looking straight at you, has all eight legs and three spinnerets behind! It comes complete as shown with plenty of fine details EXCEPT that the place from which you hang it may not be shown. When using as a pendant necklace just add it to any chain or cord you like! This creation is about 2 1/4" inch at it's highest (from top to bottom leg), and about 1 1/2" long and wide (remember that 2 1/2 centimeters equal 1 inch). Made almost 100% from wood unless stated otherwise (I sometimes use tiny amounts of other things) I use paint and many finishes, often metallic, and make sure a lot of details shine through, often even the wood grain itself despite high tech themes. They maintain an often retro, sometimes even rustic look and feel to them, like an "olde worlde" toy or something (some more so than others ... I am told that surprisingly many do not even look like they are wood, but like metal or some manmade material... you can usually tell by the photos)! Toy & Ma Sidekick "Bunneh" A couple months ago in SecondLife I had a fundamental change to my Avatar. I changed my hair from a white feathered hair to this new dark hairstyle. I had this white hair style since the summer of 2008 so it was a bit stressful for me to change. Afterall, that was ME! But so many said they liked the new color/style better so... Now with this new hair style and color, I finally got around to creating a new artistic image of me to use as a profile pic in SL, DA, Yahoo, SL forums, Zazzle, and wherever else my old photo was. OH.... you all wanna know "what about the bunneh on my shoulder?" Well last february my best friend in SL gave it to me as a gift for V-Day. It is a shoulder pet. Shes a dear friend to me so "Bunneh" is my perpetual sidekick in SL ever since. If you ever see me in SL, you will likely see my blinking Bunneh with me. New Avatar Actually, it's just a new photo of the same toy that Michelle got me a few years ago. It's called the Terrarium Keeper, by artist Jeff Soto. Hanna-Barbera vs Disney Tried to drum up a conversation with the Scoobies? and the residents of The Hundred Acre Wood. But they were having none of it.They just sat there in a depressed state(well Eeyore was his usual self). Went for a coffee and got chatting to the girl behind the counter. She told me that a while back 2 asbo hounds were making a nuisance of themselves pissing about and being loud.Well, apparently one of them won a Piglet, then in front of all the toys he got out a lighter and burnt poor Piglet, then they used him as a football. Those poor toys, the horrors they have seen. I said to her, what happened to the lads? And it turns out that an enormous inflatable Killer Whale that was resting on the pier had seen this, and being so riled up by it he broke loose of his mooring and rolled down and twatted them with his big fin! Mystery. The mystery machine toy van broken and dumped in an alleyway in Kent. Santa was here! My Mom has always had enough enthusiasm for three people. She was always very good with little children, whether her own, teaching CCD for preschoolers, or spoiling her grandchildren. She would attend every activity we kids were involved in: viola lesson, soccer practice, baseball game, dancing class. She learned to ride rollercoasters so she could ride with us. She did lots of good things that helped her three kids, in my opinion, grow up to be pretty good people. She is the reason I love little children so much too. They are much easier to deal with than older kids and adults. Everything is as it seems, no one is playing mind games, and you know exactly where you stand. Naked honesty. I don't think I've ever grown out of that. For better... or worse. I think a light was finally turning on. "Hey, are those TOYS?!!" Oops This one is for Michael Martin. Even though I am an adult I draw a firm line at Christmas. Christmas is for toys. There is nothing worse that opening your last present and have the magic of Christmas be over. You must have something to Play with until mom makes you go to Church. boxer-1 Photo by Lydia Marcus This boxer is only a year + so she was full of pep and spastic energy. My dog Lucy The Boxador wasn't really into her manic energy. She was pretty fun to watch cavorting around the dog park and damn cute. My Canon AF35M was pretty loud each time the film would advance and she was pretty freaked out by it. She hasn't mastered the command of "drop it" or "give" or "leave it" - sometimes she would drop off her toy at my feet and most of the time she didn't. She's an adorable boxer though. The Canon AF35M was my very first 35mm camera and the very first camera that was exclusively mine and not the family camera. Up til that point, I had used several family cameras including two different Polaroids (a Super Shooter Plus and a One Step) or a Kodak Instamatic. Sometime around 1980 or 1981, when I was 10 or 11 years old, I asked my Dad to buy me a camera of my own. On some special occasion (I think possibly my 6th grade graduation) I was told I could get a camera and I chose the Canon AF35M. I believe I bought it at Radio Shack. I used the camera until I got a hand me down Canon AE-1 Program around 1986 and then I started using that. The camera has sat unused in a cabinet ever since. My emerging re-interest in shooting film has brought me back to the Canon AF35M. When I realized it had a fast f/2.8 lens I thought I'd give it a try. Here's the first test roll. The camera is still working perfectly, the only issue I have to be aware of is that I can't get too close for focusing. Other than that, the photos turned out surprisingly sharp. I think it has a pretty nice, contrasty lens. From Wikipedia: The Canon AF35M, nicknamed the Autoboy by Canon Japan or the Sure Shot by Canon USA, was Canon Inc.'s first autofocus 35mm lens-shutter compact camera.[1][2] It was launched in November 1979[1] and received the Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry's 1980 Good Design Award in September 1980.[2] It proved successful among similar cameras from the competition and sold well; production reached 110,000 per month by the second half of 1981.[2] It was partly supplanted by 1981's higher-specified AF35ML and wholly replaced by 1983's AF35M II. The active autofocus system used a near-infrared emitting diode and a pin photo diode to determine the subject position by triangulation in a manner similar to a coincident-image rangefinder. This meant that the system was independent of ambient light levels and achieved a high degree of accuracy; however, it could be fooled by glass (which is not transparent to infrared radiation). The autofocus area was marked on the reverse-Galilean optical viewfinder, which also had projected framelines, zone focusing marks for near, medium and far (lit to indicate the approximate area the autofocus had selected), parallax correction marks, and battery-check and camera-shake warning LEDs. Viewfinder magnification was 0.5? and coverage was 85% of the full 135 frame by area. The lens was of 38 mm focal length and with a maximum aperture of f/2.8. A ring around the lens optic itself was used to set the film speed (ISO 25 to 400), which was indicated on a small window on the front of the lens assembly; also there, but below the lens optic itself, was the cadmium sulfide (CdS) photoresistor for the light meter. The location of this, inside the filter ring of the lens, meant that the meter would function accurately even with filters fitted to the lens. Film transport was fully automatic in both directions, but the camera was not fitted with Canon's Quick Load feature; film still had to be manually threaded to the take-up spool. An integral flash was fitted; this retracted into the top of the camera on the left (from the user's perspective) and was manually extended via releasing a catch on the camera's front. The unit had a guide number of 14 (at ISO 100 in meters) and featured auto-exposure with the camera's light meter as well as supporting fill flash. Also on the front was a self-timer control. All electronic functions drew power from two AA batteries. boxer-2 Photo by Lydia Marcus This boxer is only a year + so she was full of pep and spastic energy. profile in july he is growing so much, the height, vocabulary and skills just increase every day! just like the pepper plant in the foreground he sprouts up and shocks you with his language this week he said to grampa ron "dad took me in the boat to the estuary" my dad looked at me did he say what I thought he just said, I replied yes then in conversation to me in the car he told me "sometimes I get mad, then angry and then upset...but i hate being frust-ur-ated" my jaw dropped too many big concepts that i never knew a toddler could get big picture stuff he plays with a magnetic plastic fish toy and tells me we need to set the wild fish free so they can swim he scolded me for putting something in the trash, he said "that is plastic it can be recycled MOM" with a tone of knowing he was right.....but in reality the item was not a recyclable plastic but he was right! he was telling his toy cars that they needed to be nice neighbors just such a sweet kid, yes a handful, yes wears you out, but so amazing It begins with a color I have had dreams since pregnant with this kid, about him, his future, his life, i always saw him as a traveling archeologist when I was pregnant with him....saw him as an adult.....discovering, traveling, learning, understanding the world, himself and never needing us, it was like a treat in my dreams if we, the parents, saw him 2 times a year, he was soooo busy with his life! Now sometimes he says to me "mom I am too busy to come do that now" I laugh remembering my dreams while pregnant we got grief about his name from family, I remember distinctly about 2 months before he was born having a strong gurgle from within me kind of scream "MY NAME IS EMERSON"....and thus I stopped trying to appease the family that thought his name should be Jack or John or something "normal and one syllable" as they said Now I tend to have dreams and nightmares about day to day scares....him running in the parking lot at work to greet gramma....thankfully no moving cars but still out the door on his own, his continual pushing the limits of safety, being all boy and fearless, I am an overprotective mom, flat out Related topics: postman pat toys australia tiny knitted toys valuable mcdonalds toys sports toys for boys vintage tin wind up toys toys for girls and boys fisher price toys australia children play toys strawberry shortcake toys 2011 |
