The Grimm fairy tale is given a scary twist with the children who lure the adults to their 'gingerbread' home.

The handsome star, CHUN JEONG-MYOUNG) crashes his car in the woods and finds a 'KINKADE' home which seems to have the perfectly normal home with everything a kid would ever ever want. Toys, tv, sweets, christmas tree, well, everything just looks so perfect and fun.

and doesn't the sign in front of the house say HOME OF THE HAPPY CHILDREN...
JEOUNG-MYOUNG tries to leave only to find that he is 'trapped' in the maze of the woods, and keeps ending back up at the 'fairy tale' house.

Then the 'parents' want to leave, and are replaced by some other couple...only to find the previous 'mother' as a life-size doll in the attic ...

the replacement parents, seem to get on the nerves of the children...and are soon missing...

only to be replaced by a creepy preacher and his wife...only to....oh oh....they want someone to stay and be their 'uncle'...

why...and why is the TV playing the same TV show over and over and its not plugged in...the old 1960's phone doesn't work....

and was that really 'beef stew' they had for lunch?

and who is making all those cakes and cupcakes and sweets that are constantly on the table?

can 'uncle' escape this suger sweet jail?

Beautiful filmed with that incredible South Korean angles and color saturation that ASIAN film lovers worship...The angles and movement of the camera make this a movement as well as a visual delight. An art and set decoration masterpiece.

An incredible ride with how and what the hell...hell being an operative word , folks...

Griswold Award 2009 Best of Show Away From Home - Southwest Manteca, CA

Hands down, this is the Holy Grail of decked-out and well-lit homes for this holiday season, or any in recent times.

My Uncle Brian took me here last year to see what the fuss was all about. I've never seen any house so close to my home (And the city of my birth) as tricked out as this place.

I've heard that the person that lives here works for Pacific Gas and Electric, so they've had the outside wiring main box custom-rigged. I'd hate to have their power bill, though.

One picture can't do this house justice. I've taken several - Some good, some a bit dark, some shaky, but all awe-inspiring.

(Yes, I like trains, real ones, toy ones, they had two going on a track that encircled the entire outside display! One of these days I'm returning to Old Sacramento to the California State Railroad Museum with The Big Gun and snapping until my fingers give out, or the camera does, or at least until the 8 GB memory card fills up.)

After the photo-shots, he asked me to get myself an ice-cream. I had planned to but was too full after the heavy dinner in a Chinese noodles restaurant at Centrepoint.

On a side note, buying ice-cream from street vendors like this uncle brings me fond memories of my childhood in a Kampong-like district, except that the ice-cream sold for 10 cent sper scope then.^^

We woke up early and got in line behind about 17 other people to get a Wii for Jai's nephew. Of course we bought 2 and sold one on Craigslist. We were nice though and only charged about $50 over the actual cost. The line at best buy already had about 100 people. By the time the store opened about 50 people were behind us. Unfortunately, they only had 32 wiis.

So, my son's best friend in the world is that mysterious guy in the mirror that looks just like him and always seems to have the same expressions. For some reason I have taken to calling the reflection "Dan" (my son's name is Daniel, we call him Danny) and we are always referring to the time spent gazing into reflective surfaces as quality time with his "buddy Dan". When I saw this toy at the store I just knew it would make his day.

It is so amazing to watch him acknowledge more and more of the world around him. He is 4 months old now and what started as an adorable little tank of an infant has grown into a smiley, happy, inquisitive baby already - a little guy who knows what he likes and who you are. 4 months. We are just barely out of the gate and this guy has changed us entirely.

One of my final projects at University was to do a shoot in the studio, and a shoot on location with flash, using whatever theme and ideas we liked. I chose to base my project around adults acting as though they were children - participating in children's games and activities, and being very enthusiastic.

This was my first studio shoot for this project, and considering it's only the second time I have used the studio, I'm pleased with how the images have turned out!

The Black Widow was the US Army Air Force's first purpose-built night fighter.

In a few weeks time I will be traveling to Swindon in the UK for the Great Western Lego Show, where I will be displaying some of my minifig scale WWII aircraft. This provided a little extra incentive for me to build a new one. I've been a fan of the P-61B Black Widow for years and after having seen a real one (at the National Air and Space Museum in Dulles) it was my first pick. It arrived too late in the war to make a large impact, but makes up for that by looking menacing!

Het verhaal De musical Cats speelt zich af op een vuilnisbelt waar katten diep in de nacht samenkomen voor het vieren van het Jellicle Ball. Musical Little Shop of Horrors

De derde- en vierdejaarsstudenten Musical van het Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, departement van de Erasmushogeschool Brussel, brachten van 17 tot 28 maart ‘Little Shop of Horrors’. De musical was gebaseerd op de gelijknamige film uit 1960 die meteen de cultstatus bereikte. De voorstellingen vonden plaats in de campus Nijverheidskaai van de Erasmushogeschool Brussel, Nijverheidskaai 170 in 1070 Brussel.

De musical ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ vertelt het verhaal van de jonge, maar incompetente bloemist Simon Krelborn, medewerker bij Mushniks Bloemen en Planten. Mr. Mushnik staat op het punt om Simon te ontslaan, als collega Audrey er bij Simon op aandringt om de nieuwe mysterieuze plant op de markt te brengen waarmee hij aan het experimenteren is. I really enjoy capturing shots of things normally overlooked. As I walked around a local carnival, my senses were overloaded with the sights, smells, and sounds of the amusement park. When I saw these cute Pokemon toys in a crane machine I felt they looked caged as they eagerly awaited someone to win and take them home. They made me reflect on a time when I truly believed each of my toys were alive with feelings. With this photograph I hope to not only generate an interest in America's carnival games, but to also remind adults to remember a time when colorful stuffed toys were the heart of our world.

Several years ago, during the height of the Pokemon craze, I ate at Burger King almost every day so I could get these Pokemon toys with their kid's meal. My mom loved Pokemon too. She bought me a Game Boy Color, Pokemon Red for Game Boy, an N64 and that Pokemon picture-taking game, the Pokemon Movie DVD and CD soundtrack.

Well, the other day I opened an old box I had taped up and put away, and found all my little Pokemon toys from Burger King. I took out three of my favorites, and I'll probably bring them to my desk at work soon.

I saw her from a distance, gray and grim, as if she'd been crucified on the truck's radiator grill. But when I went up for a closer look, there was something more to her.

At first glance, she looked abused, another poor tortured toy. I'd seen plenty of teddy bears on radiator grills over the years, a few cabbage patch dolls and the odd smurf. One of these days, I imagine I'll see a Blythe on a radiator grill and won't that be a photo op!

But the longer I looked, the less sure I was that she was tortured at all. She'd ridden long and hard on the front of that truck. Her dress was in tatters and much of her face was gone. Yet she was still smiling. Still, smiling, think of that.

She had an eerie Children of the Corn meets the Wicker Man air about her. And I realized that she had been transformed and was inhabited by one of the old ones, something fierce and gray and blind and female and powerful. And I realized that whoever had strapped her to this truck was playing with fire. A victim she may have started, but now SHE was in control.

I saw a couple of guys twiddling with a utility box across the street. I walked over to them, stepping through puddles of slush, glad my shoes were warm and waterproof.

"Hey, I like your doll!"

The fellow nearest me gave a start and looked up.

"Yeah," He grinned, but seemed a bit anxious about my comment. "I found her. You should have seen her. I wired her to the grill." His grin became deeper and his eyes widened as he remembered his mischief. "Her clothes have worn away."

"So has her face." I hollered back over the road noise.

"She's been on there for years." He said.

"She's still smiling though, did you notice? She's still smiling."

He looked very uncomfortable again. I continued, "Does she have a name? Surely, you gave her a name. What's her name?"

"No name." He wanted this conversation over, I could tell. He glanced over at the truck and I do believe she made him anxious now.

I looked at her and felt the opposite. She was a fellow traveller. I felt solidarity with her, with all the gray worn female deities.

"She needs a name. She's a road warrior for sure. No eyes, and still she smiles. And that dress? She's exploded out of it like the incredible Hulk, like a superhero. You need to give her a name. She's awesome."

And with that, I left.

I have to admit that this isn't one my little beast made. This sucker is mine... all mine. Delaney has been a bit of a Star Wars kick after watching the class good vs. evil tale a month or so ago. Therefore, I thought it wise to add a bit o' stormtrooper to her Lego collection. The only part that bugged me initially was the "gun" action. But hey... I eased up a little bit on that.

So Daddy decided to hijack his half of playtime the first time we added the 'troopers. I quickly snapped up "Mr. Farm-guy" and a few wheels and created far less of a work truck, and far more of a vehicle of violence. Pretty sweet Imperial color-coding, huh? I thought so too. Seriously... would you mess with this? For you OLD folks, it reminds me also a bit of "Rat Patrol" from when I was a kid.

My name is Denny & I am a driver on the Wal-Mart Dedicated account in Fontana, CA.
Not too long ago my son Landen turned one year old & it was time for his one-year pictures. So mom took him in for the first round, & of course, he was tired & was not in the mood for pictures. Later that week, I was home, so it was my turn to take him in for round two. Once again he was really not in the mood.
The photographer & I tried every toy that she had. Nothing was working. Out of desperation, I tried something Landen & I do when we are playing at home. I took off my hat & put it on his head. It worked! The smile came out & we were ready for a couple more pictures. Because I am a proud dad & I think I have the cutest kid in the world I wanted to share this picture with you!
I also wanted to say thank you for the Extra Mile newsletter. My wife & I enjoy reading the articles. It really helps us feel like we are part of what is going on at Schneider.
