World Trade Center Subway
Taken in 2005, this is the World Trade Center Subway station, one of the few remaining areas of WTC left after the September 11th tragedy. At the time this photo was took the area was open to the public.
The figure with the note over them looks into the foundation of the World Trade Center under deconstruction at the time to prep the area for the possible "Freedom Tower" slated to go in to replace the remains.
