Airmen's Restaurant - RAF West Raynham
RAF West Raynham in North Norfolk. This is the Airmen's Restaurant fenced off and abandoned but perhaps part of the site developer's plans for leisure facilities linked to their sale of the former Airmen's Quarters and Officer's Quarters on the base.
The developer plans to build loft apartments in the former hangars so you can park your aircraft and then live above it.
Raynham Industrial Heritage
Site of First Successful Iron Works in the Old Colony (Plymouth Colony), established in 1656 and operated for 220 years by the Leonards and Deans. The site is located in Raynham, Massachusetts, which was originally part of Taunton. All that remains today is a small park and an anchor donated by the U.S. Navy in the 1950s. It's very easy to pass by without notice.
