110km bike trip down the shore
We are almost there
From this point until the end of the trip we've made very few stops, so i couldn't take too much pictures.
The first stop was trying to find an alternate route to avoid going through a not so safe neighbourhood. (We weren't cycling in the main highway at this point)
The second stop (the hardest part in this trip) happened when one of our bikes got a flat tire right in the eye of the hurricane. Yeah...we went through this strange neighbourhood!
Luckily we've found a ranger headquarter some meters ahead. We stopped there to change the tire.
(Actually, the story is far more complicated. It was the only racing bike among us and he hadn't a spare tube for his type of tire with him. So some of us went in search for a bike shop)
Finally felt well enough today to play with my new bike I picked up on Wednesday. Its a Charge duster rigid mountain bike which I am really pleased with. I thought my old bike was due an upgrade as it was nearly 15 years old!
I changed the tyres over to slicks for the London to Brighton in a few weeks
