My "1st course" in our fiber food round robin. Deb (snickeringlicorice.blogspot.com) sent me a breakfast plate and I made some fiber bacon !?!! using a fusion technique I learned in a doll class at ArtFiberFest -- layering fabric and fibers and free motion quilting on water-soluble Sulky. The bacon's not quite as dark as it looks in the photo, but is a little "crispy," just the way I like it!

Deb sent a pretty book "Food for Thought" to accompany her plate. Stay tuned for future menu items..... hee hee hee....
